Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) Strengthens Global Sales Team with Two New Appointments

ORLANDO, FL (June 5, 2018) – Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI),  a global sales force for 250 luxury and upper-upscale hotels, has announced two new additions to its Global Sales team, including Shelley Bartle-Reed as director of sales in Toronto, Canada, and Myra Howay as director of sales in San Francisco. The ALHI Global Sales team supports meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives worldwide in securing exceptional locations, around the world, for meetings, conventions and incentive programs.

Myra and Shelley are exceptional additions to ALHI.”

Bartle-Reed joins ALHI with more than 10 years of experience in the luxury meetings and incentive market. She will manage accounts across Canada including markets such as Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary.

Prior to joining the team, Bartle-Reed served as global account director for Starwood Hotels &Resorts, where she was responsible for initiating and maintaining relationships with key strategic group and airline accounts worldwide. While there, she successfully led a team of sales professionals. In addition, her achievements earned her a nomination for the 2014 Global Sales person of the year at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Incentive Trip Winner status in 2014 and 2016.

Bartle-Reed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Literature from Queen’s University.

Howay joins ALHI from Silverado Resort &Spa in Napa, CA, where she served as director of technology sales. With more than a decade of experience in sales leadership roles, Howay will manage key customer accounts in the San Francisco area.


During her tenure at Silverado Resort & Spa, Howay was responsible for developing and driving sales from technology accounts across the region.

Howay is a graduate from the California State University, Hayward, and holds a degree in Business Management.
