Singapore, 17 September 2018 – WorldHotels affiliate hotel The Kunlun Jing An has announced that it was awarded the internationally recognized Safehotels certification. It is the first and only hotel in China to receive the highest level of certification for the Global Hotel Security Standard ©.
In the recent years, the travel industry has been seeing an increasing expectation in safety and security. To offer travelers a better peace of mind during their stays, it is crucial for hotels to keep up with global standards for security excellence. As the world’s leading company for independent hotel safety and security certifications, Safehotels Alliance helps hotels develop and validate the implementation of safety and security policies, standards and procedures. The company also works with and is recognized by numerous travel industry associations, travel management companies and organizations such as UNISDR (United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction).
“As the first and only hotel certified with the highest level in China, we feel very proud to attain the Executive Certificate from Safehotels.” said Gerd Knaust, General Manager of The Kunlun Jing An. “Safety and security is the foundation of taking care of our guests,as much as it is the key priority for Global Travel Managers and Professional Meeting Organizers for their employees when travelling on business. This award responds perfectly to their needs.
